Data Retention Policy
We keep data only as long as it's useful to you, then it goes.

Retention periods (draft)
- Analytics events: stored PII-free and pruned on a rolling schedule. [Owner: confirm window, proposed 12 months.]
- Share links (checklists, results, name votes): expire automatically 30 days after creation; expired share data is deleted.
- Subscriber data:kept while you're subscribed, then for a reasonable period after unsubscribe to honor suppression (so we don't email you again) before deletion. Consent records are kept as evidence of lawful processing.
- Contact messages: kept as long as needed to help you, then deleted. [Owner: confirm window.]
- Directory submissions and reports: kept while the related listing is active, plus a reasonable audit period.
- Planning-tool data:lives in your browser's localStorage, we never receive it, so retention is entirely in your control.
Hashes, not identities
Where we need abuse prevention (rate limiting, spam control), we store salted, non-reversible hashes of network identifiers that rotate daily, they cannot be used to identify or track you over time.
Deletion requests
Email hello@miraclebabycelebrations.comto request deletion of data we hold about you. We'll act within a reasonable period, subject to anything we're legally required to keep.
Backups
[DRAFT.] Routine backups may retain deleted records briefly until backup rotation completes; backups are not used to restore deleted personal data except for disaster recovery.
