FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This is completely normal. Babies have their own positions, preferences, and moods. We always try for the face, but we never make the session about forcing it.

Even when baby doesn’t give a perfect face view, you’ll still see movement, heartbeat, hands, feet, and beautiful moments that are meaningful in their own way.

  • We can’t guarantee specific images. Things like baby’s position, placenta location, fluid levels, and your unique anatomy all play a role.

What we can guarantee is a calm, guided, respectful experience and our full effort and expertise.

    This isn’t a photoshoot. It’s a meeting.

  • We’ll guide you through gentle, natural things like changing positions, walking a bit, or taking a short break. Sometimes baby moves. Sometimes they don’t.

We never rush, pressure, or force the session.

And we’ll always talk you through your options with honesty and care.

  • Body size is just one of many factors. Placenta position, fluid, and baby’s position often matter more.

We never make assumptions, and we never make anyone feel uncomfortable. Every body and every pregnancy is different.

  • We don’t rush and we don’t treat sessions like something to get through quickly. We focus on creating a calm, meaningful experience and working patiently with wherever baby is that day.

  • Placenta position can change what angles we can use. Sometimes it means we get profiles or side views instead of straight-on faces. That’s normal and very common.

We work with the best windows we can find.

  • A calm room. Soft lighting. No rushing. We’ll talk you through what you’re seeing. You’ll hear the heartbeat and watch your baby move.

Some parents cry. Some laugh. Some just sit quietly. There’s no right way to feel.

  • No — and no one ethically can. Social media shows highlight reels. Every baby and every pregnancy is different.

We focus on your baby, not recreating someone else’s image.
